Marty attended Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN.  His Southern Rock Band “The Northfield Gang” was formed by his Music

Professor along with other New Jersey classmates at Tennessee Wesleyan.  “The Northfield Gang” had recorded two singles that gained popularity throughout the southern college campuses and southern radio stations.  The band toured Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Marty got his nickname “Wall Street Marty” from his days working on Wall Street as a Government Securities Broker.  Marty co-founded “The Wall Street Jam” with the late Joe Sacerdote (Victim of 911) a cover Rock Band that was comprised of all Professional Wall Street Brokers and Executives.  The band played on Thursday nights down at the South Street Seaport, The World Trade Center, and local clubs.  The year 1986 brought Marty some local fame at the University of Tampa, Florida when Marty’s brother asked him to write a song for his graduating class (“I’m Coming Home Tonight”).  The song stayed in existence for the next three graduating classes.

In 1991, Marty formed the band “Sidekick” a Rock Band that ran successfully for Six years performing at popular New Jersey Rock Clubs until he formed “Double Take” in 1997.  Marty’s biggest fan is his nine-year-old daughter who loves going to see the band perform at bridal shows and sometimes attends band rehearsals.
