Went on to further his education at DePaul University and achieved a Master's of Music in Jazz performance. 

Marty has performed in the Broadway shows of Wonderful Town and the Drowsy Chaperone.  Has performed and toured with The Duke Ellington Orchestra, The Billy Strayhorn Orchestra, Long Island Pops Orchestra, Lou Christie, The Duprees, Harlem Renaissance Orchestra, Joe Piscopo, Ben E. King, Roberta Flack, Bobby Rydell, The Association, George Gee and His Orchestra, The Irish Tenors, Dick Meldonian Big Band, Ted Bloomenthal Orchestra, Diane Moser and the Composer's Workshop.  

Marty has done commercial recording as well, for many pop, classical groups, and performers.
