director of music and education. Performing solos and singing in choir, she learned all of the wonderful
gospel harmonies at a very young age.

Janell received several top awards and honors for All-State Choir in Houston, Texas during her High School years.  Janell received a full ride scholarship for vocal performance at Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas.  Janell has performed in many productions with  “The Houston Grand Opera Company”.  While living in Alabama, Janell did various Radio and Television Commercial Jingles.

Janell took some time off from performing to have and raise three beautiful and active children.  Returning from motherhood, Janell performed at many Atlantic City Casinos and Hotels in a variety of musical performances and shows.

Janell answered the ad in the Asbury Park Press in April of 1999 that bandleader Marty McGrath ran, for a Soprano Vocalist.  She was offered the job after singing just two songs at the audition.  Janell also had the privilege of performing “The National Anthem” at First Energy Park opening year for the New Jersey Blue Claws.

Janell appreciates the on going opportunities that expand her vocal abilities with all of the different styles of music she has had the pleasure of learning and developing, over the past twelve years.
